COVID-19 Notice

As the impact from the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues around the world, we appreciate the efforts everyone is making to remain calm and to support each other through this situation. Our offices and plant remain open, and we would like to share information, guidance and policies that we can all use to protect each other at our facilities.

Symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) states that symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. The symptoms initially are like those present with influenza or a bad cold. The CDC believes at this time that symptoms of COVID-19 may appear in as few as two days or as long as 14 days after exposure. You can find answers to many general questions related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the CDC website at

According to the CDC, the virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet); or, through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. According to the World Health Organization, coronaviruses do not survive long on objects.

Take Everyday Precautions as Identified by the CDC:
-Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing, or having been in a public place.
-If soap and water are not available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
-To the extent possible, avoid touching high-touch surfaces in public places such as elevator buttons, door handles, handrails, and other similar surfaces. Use a tissue or your sleeve to cover your hand or finger if you must touch something.
-Avoid social physical contact such as shaking hands, hugging or patting hands.
-Wash your hands after touching surfaces in public places.
Avoid touching your face, nose, eyes, or any other part of your face.
-Clean and disinfect your work area. Practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces, for example: tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, desks, toilets, faucets, sinks, telephone and cell phones.
-Avoid crowds, especially in poorly ventilated spaces. Your risk of exposure to respiratory viruses like COVID-19 may increase in crowded, closed-in settings with little air circulation if there are people in the crowd who are sick.
-Avoid all non-essential travel including plane trips, and especially avoid embarking on cruise ships.

Our employees are taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our visitors, including wearing gloves to operate machinery and routinely disinfecting all door handles, equipment, tools, touch pads, light switches, sink faucets, and other high-touch surfaces.
